Job Summary:
Elysian Interiors is looking for a motivated and creative Interior Designer Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, providing exposure to real-world design projects. As an intern, you will assist senior designers with various tasks, including concept development, material selection, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior interior designers with design projects, from concept to final stages
- Create mood boards, sketches, and presentations to support design concepts
- Help with selecting and sourcing materials, fabrics, and furnishings
- Collaborate with clients and vendors under the supervision of senior designers
- Assist with site visits, measurements, and inspections to ensure design implementation
- Work with design software such as AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, and MS Excel to create layouts and 3D renderings
- Provide support in project management tasks such as scheduling and budgeting
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Excel, etc.)
- Strong creative and design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- A passion for interior design and eagerness to learn
- Availability for full-time or part-time internship (please specify duration)
